Since diablo II is getting rather old i thought it was nice to try somehing new out. and thats why i got my hands on titan quest, the game has all the right ingridients to make a good game, its hack n slash... its made by some of the original crew behind diablo, and its 3d. what could go wrong???
i tell you what could go wrong... EVERYTHING
the game has the right age... its greek mytholegy... Greek Mythlolegy = Fun. just look at god of war :D
One thing that botherd me about the game is the gore, there is none. its fun how little cretures bleed these days :-/ one thing i like is that when you hit a thing they fly away. some fly to much taking some of the fun
But one thing that really took away the magic is the story. its to confusing. you can take the liniar path or look at all side quests, but who the hell do i need to talk to??? the minimap dosnt give much hint.
to be frank. i dont know what i should say about titan quest... its a great game that just is to weak. they tried. but when they left blizzard they just forgot to pack one thing into the suitcase... quality

Im in the army now
i still don't know what i will do in the army... will i sail over or under water? or will i fly around in a plane? i have those 3 things to choose from.
i am not talking about real life of course. could you see me in a green shirt and matching pants running around with a weapon? nah
i am talking about battle stations:Midway from Eidos.
a very beautiful game i must say. everything steers just great. well the canons on the boat can be a little hard to move and the plane might not steer just where i want.
But its nice that the planes are made of titanium. there is this health bar "cause every game needs a health bar" and it was down in the gone, meaning i have no life "thank you game" but i could still get shot. i was shot at for 6 sec and i could still fly on.
The boat part was awesome. its "as i mentioned in the start" hard to fire the cannons. but the steering is awesome, and the damage control is brilliant. your deck can start on fire. and your guys a running around in panic... OK not really, i had one walk right into the fire then stand still and take up his binoculars and start looking in some direction. but its nice to see that people can keep a cool head in emergencies...
right-o. the submarine part.
I DONT UNDERSTAND IT, I CAN'T SAIL A SUB!!!

cheesy mail :-/
Having my personal e-mail on a blog like this is my way of saying that i trust you all. but i will stop trusting you all when i start getting e-mails about gambling.
I got a cheesy e-mail from an apparently 40-year old Ketil from Norway (nowai, yawai) who wanted to tell me about this cool website he has.
how did I know? cause he told me... Hi my name is KETIL and i am 40 years old...
thanks for telling me Ketil... now if i get in a game of trivial pursuit i will finally be able to answer the question right "how old is Ketil from Norway?"
Well. he wanted to promote his website witch is about gambling... and well... hmm... NO
So please. only send me mails if you have comments... questions... or want to tell me that my blog is one large typo.
"(Thx Iglo)"

Luxor collection
I really enjoy luxor. i played it a long time ago on a freinds pc, and now thanks to steam, i have the whole collection, let me now give my words on the game...
The main idea in luxor is that you have to shoot the long line of diffrent colour balls with other balls of the same colour, if a ball, say green. hits a line with 2 or more green balls that line will explode and the line will get shorter.
you have to destroy the whole line of coloured balls before they hit the destination.
all 4 games (including expansions) are set in an egypt setting.
Luxor:
The first game in the series and also the one i spend time with that long ago. the graphics in the game is real simple, there are the balls and the shooter. the balls follow the road made for them, its so simple. and thats what makes this game so great.
I am that type of person, no matter how much i try i cant get stressed out at work or life or whatever, so i play these games to take a little stress test on my charecter, and this game really works out well for that, at some point we have a long line of balls and they are just comming faster and faster toward the goal, and i dont have any of the right colours, i do mistakes and... BOOM i died.
im not saying that the game is hard. its not easy either. its a nice casual game. and a must have
Luxor 2:
a sequal is never good. (excebt for final fantasy) so why should this game be any diffrent. sure, the graphics are much nicer, but i have no idea where the balls are going on some levels. there is no road to follow. yet they follow it. i dont know if i should shoot a little to the right or left. suddenly the whole track of balls move without telling me, and im stuck wasting a good power up on thing. Frustrating.
The game still follows the good idea in the original game, but they tried to implement something in the game that would never work.
Luxor 3:
This however changed with luxor 3. they took everything that was good about the first. and everything that was good about the 2nd. and mixed it all together. added a shop (cause every casual game nowadays should have a shop) and put it in the oven for about 3 hours and then you got luxor 3. This game is really great.
Luxor. Amun's rising:
I thought this game was some sort of spin off or something. turns out it is a expansion pack of the first game.
I guess the story is that you travelled all the way through the dessert, and now you have to go back again. more levels.
Luxor. is a great game. you owe it to yourself to atleast try the demo at some point.
